About Memory Meadow

Memory Meadow started in April 2024 with three meadows planted in Hamilton, Te Awamutu and Matamata. In May 2025 we're adding meadows in Tauranga, Rotorua, Pirongia and Cambridge. The dream is for one day to have Memory Meadows all across our region.

The purpose of the Memory Meadows is threefold. Firstly to raise funds for the Cancer Society Waikato/Bay of Plenty, secondly to hold an event where the community can come together to share stories of hope, courage and resilience in the face of cancer. And finally to create a beautiful space for people to reflect and remember loved ones.
